SEASPIN LEPPA JIG 11

Seaspin

After the 22, 33, 44 and 55 the small size of the very particular jigs from the Sardinian company Seaspin could not be missing. Leppa 11 was therefore born as a response to all salt and fresh water casters who like to use light equipment to search for their favorite predators. The proportions and shape of their older brothers remain unchanged: that particular "anatomy" that makes leppa unique in their kind. The flattened and aerodynamic body with the center of gravity of the bait moved towards the rear make this jig a real "bullet". Its swimming is nervous and wagging even on slow and linear retrieves and the lure responds promptly to jerks producing the classic "side to side" movement generally more common in classic jerk minnows. During the fall towards the bottom the jig, thanks to its knife shape, leaves the vertical trajectory "performing" in a disorderly flickering, accentuated even more by the refraction of the light on the side of the bait formed by three planes slightly angled to each other. Precisely for this feature we decided to arm the metal with a single assist (made up of a resistant cord and a Gamu round Hook size #1) and specifically let's see why: 1 The assist hook is an additional mobile element which creates interest at the sight of the predator. 2 The "lightness" of the assist increases the probability of strikes, especially on predators that suck the bait. 3 If the jig is used on the seabed, the "lightness" of the assist hook avoids unpleasant snags. 4 The Gamu Hook facilitates and speeds up the unhooking phases, making it possible to release the prey. 5 The mobility of the assist hook completely cancels any leverage or twisting effect that often causes the prey to unhook. 6 The robustness of the assist hook makes a small bait like this perform well even on very large prey. Having read these characteristics, one can understand the numerous scenarios in which the Leppa 11 can be used successfully: from classic off-shore feeding (therefore flatfish, horse mackerel, mackerel, sea bream, dolphin fish, dolphinfish, bonito, etc.) to the search for all those seabed such as paragus, gurnards, snappers, scorpion fish and weevers. But also excellent for targeting sea bass, sea bream, bream, bluefish and barracuda from the ground in the foam below the shore. Thanks to its size it is also suitable for use in fresh water: for example dropped towards the bottom of a large lake in search of a real perch or made to flicker in the current of a stream ready to arouse the curiosity of a beautiful trout on the hunt! For the rest, your imagination will be able to find equally valid and effective uses for it!! Target: bonito, amberjack, dolphin fish, tombarello, tuna, horse mackerel, mackerel, weever, royal perch.

SHIMANO TECHNIUM AS TROUT AREA

Shimano

The Technium AS trout area rods are specifically designed to maximize fishing performance with small hardbaits and spoons. Ultra light and thin, the Technium AS's premium action is semi-parabolic to improve casting and fish retrieval when using light lines and barbless hooks. The Technium AS offers small diameters with excellent performance. Paired with a small Shimano 1000 or 2000 spinning reel, you get a set-up that even the best Trout Area anglers would be happy to use. You can't help but notice how well the Technium AS casts, even when using the smallest spoons, weighing less than 1g. But it is when you hook a trout that the rod shows its true values: it bends gently along its entire length, absorbing escapes and headbutts from the hooked trout. The Technium AS Full Carbon blanks are in line with the latest requirements for Trout Area rods. Lightweight, ultra-thin and with perfect action, the addition of Shimano's exclusive Diaflash technology gives all four models the perfect amount of backbone to accurately cast ultra-light lures and create spoons and micros hardbait. To reinforce the quality of the design, Technium AS uses Fuji KR type guides with Fazlite coatings, which work particularly well with ultra-thin braided lines. The ergonomic Shimano IPS reel seat was chosen to ensure comfort and sensitivity and the split grip cork handle completes the modern and classic look. Available in four different models: two lengths and two powers, to best meet your needs.
