The DAIWA 23 EMBLEM 35 SCW QD is a reel designed for surf casting, but also suitable for carp fishing. Featuring a 45mm spool and the Slow Cross Wrap (SCW) system for line positioning, it offers extremely long casts and precise line control. Thanks to the combination of slow spooling of the cross line and the optimized longcast spool, friction is minimized during the cast, allowing for a greater casting distance. The Digigear II gear and Zaion V rotor ensure efficient power transmission and facilitate the retrieval of heavy prey from long distances. The extra sturdy stainless steel axle gives the reel remarkable resistance and long life. The QDM braking system allows for precise adjustment to suit fishing conditions. The reel is supplied with a deep spare spool, ideal for a wide range of fishing situations. Distinctive features include the Zaion V body, the AIR ROTOR rotor, the DIGIGEAR II gear and a number of other components that improve the performance and overall durability of the reel.
