The Crosscast 45 SCW QD LD is a mid-range Carp Fishing reel equipped with a 45 mm long profile spool: in this Long Distance (LD) variant it is equipped with a high capacity spool, able to accommodate a greater amount of fishing line (530 m for 0.35 mm lines) to meet the needs of all anglers who need to reach spots placed at a great distance. The 45mm spool also favors even longer casts and, for greater fishing precision, it is equipped with a “High Impact” cushioned line clip. This version of the Crosscast also maintains the SCW spooling system: a true technological first product developed by Daiwa engineers, this Slow Cross Wrap spooling system optimizes line collection, positively influencing casting performance. Great safety and power are guaranteed by the second generation Digigear gears and by the super-tested 15 kg Quick Drag clutch: switching from free mode to the right brake in a fraction of a second can be crucial when dealing with large and strong prey.
