<p>The new GLX BASS series features blank rods with improved strength-to-weight ratios, improved balance and pumped-up sensitivity. Rolled on "stepped mandrels" machined with micro-tapers at specific points within the overall taper, G. Loomis engineers isolate and reinforce areas that may fail under load to ensure maximum durability. In addition to industry-leading breakage resistance, this design innovation also helps fine-tune unique flex patterns for technique-specific actions, including 11 found only in the GLX BASS range. All GLX BASS models feature a set of fully tangle-free Fuji K SiC guides to improve line management and reduce overall weight. Premium cork grips complement custom CI4+ reel seats designed to amplify the angler's connection to the blank for improved bite transmission and all-day comfort. A nod to G. Loomis' early days, the GLX BASS Series boasts a "modern throwback" aesthetic, exemplifying elegance in simplicity.
