DAIWA 23 EXCELER LT

Daiwa

LIGHT & TOUGH NEW GENERATION: DAIWA 23 LEGALIS LT The bestselling Daiwa 23 Legalis of the LT series is radically renewed: it now has a more modern look and technologies that make it even more more performing, light and balanced. Body with a renewed design, still built in ZAION V, now houses the latest generation rotor and headband. The AIRDRIVE ROTOR, borrowed from top of the range reels, is approximately 40% lighter than the rotor of previous models but is at the same time more resistant. The new spherical design allows for better weight distribution and greater robustness. The new AIRDRIVE BAIL solid bow has been developed to minimize the possibility of tangles even with low line tension, in synergy with the new line guide roller. Twist Buster III: although lighter than the previous one, it significantly improves in robustness. New ATD-L clutch: even softer and more progressive than the traditional ATD, it allows you to retrieve more safely and effectively, reducing stress on the line. Features: Zaion V body, ATD Type-L drag, AIRDRIVE Zaion V rotor, Solid AIRDRIVE Tough Digigear bail, Long Cast ABS Aluminum spool, 5 ball bearings, Twist Buster III, Cross Wrap spooling, Aluminum through handle.

Daiwa 26 Tournament QD has been developed specifically for Match and Feeder fishing, where casting consistency, distance control and smooth mechanical performance are essential.

Its aluminium reel body provides a rigid platform for the internal gearing, while TOUGH DIGIGEAR delivers smooth and consistent power transmission. The Airdrive Design shifts the reel's balance closer to the angler's hand, helping reduce fatigue during long fishing sessions.

Airdrive Design

The AIRDRIVE DESIGN focuses on weight distribution, reducing the influence of the reel's mass on the overall balance of the rod and reel combination.

The system is combined with a ZAION V Rotor and AIRDRIVE BAIL, creating a lightweight rotating assembly designed for responsive handling during repeated casts and retrieves.

Aluminium Body and Tough Digigear

The rigid aluminium body helps maintain gear alignment when the reel is placed under load.

TOUGH DIGIGEAR provides smooth and reliable power transmission, while the screw-in handle connects directly to the drive gear to minimize play and provide a more direct retrieve feel.

Airdrive Bail and Twist Buster 3

The AIRDRIVE BAIL guides the line smoothly toward the line roller, while TWIST BUSTER 3 is designed to reduce line twist during retrieval.

This combination is particularly useful when fishing with thin lines, where line management can have a direct impact on casting performance.

Double HIP Line Clip

The double HIP Line Clip is particularly useful for Feeder anglers who regularly alternate between different fishing distances.

Two separate distances can be memorized on the same spool, allowing the angler to switch between spots without losing the reference distance. The double-spring construction is also designed to reduce stress on the line during repeated casts.

QD Quick Drag

The QD Quick Drag system allows the drag setting to be changed rapidly with a short turn of the drag knob.

This makes it possible to adapt the drag quickly during different stages of the fight, maintaining direct control over the fish.

MAGSEALED Protection

MAGSEALED technology helps protect the main shaft from water and impurities, contributing to long-term mechanical smoothness and reliability.

ABS Long Cast Spool and Spare Spools

The aluminium ABS Long Cast spool is designed to provide smooth line release during casting.

The reel is supplied with two additional spools, increasing its versatility when different line diameters or fishing conditions require a quick change.

The configurations differ according to size:

3010: supplied with a 3008 spool for thinner lines and a second 3010 spool.

4010: equipped with the proven T-shaped handle knob.

3010: features the new Large I Shape Knob, providing a wider and more secure grip.

Main Features

Model: Daiwa 26 Tournament QD

Fishing styles: Match and Feeder

Airdrive Design

Aluminium reel body

Airdrive Rotor

ZAION V Rotor

Airdrive Bail

Tough Digigear

MAGSEALED

QD Quick Drag

11 ball bearings, including 7 CRBB

Aluminium ABS Long Cast spool

Double HIP Line Clip

Twist Buster 3

Screw-in handle

2 spare spools

The Daiwa 23 Airity ST-SF is an ultra-specialist version of the Airity, specifically designed for SuperFinesse techniques. A reel that makes absolute lightness, extreme sensitivity and smoothness its workhorses. The magnesium body is super compact, giving this reel record-breaking lightness: the scales stop at just 130 grams. To make the reel even more fluid and sensitive than the standard Airity, the bearing responsible for rotating the handle has been replaced with an oil one. To have an even smoother and "freer" rotation, the magnetized oil protecting the pinion has been eliminated. The clutch is a very sensitive ATD-L Super Finesse with 3kg of max drag, calibrated to offer progressiveness and millimetric precision.

Made in Japan

Airdrive Design

Magnesium Monocoque Body

10 ball bearings + 1 Line Roller

Airdrive rotor in Zaion

Airdrive ABS Long Cast Aluminum Spool

Airdrive headband

Machine cut aluminum crank

ATD type -L clutch

Airdrive shaft

Twist buster III thread guide roller

Tough digigear

Infinite anti-reverse

Cross Wrap spooling

Sensitive Tune
