It has silver anodizing, a double speed carbonite recovery system and maximizes recovery power while maintaining optimal efficiency and smoothness. The oversized handle and low-speed gears compared to the original Makaira offer extreme torque for the Makaira Sea. RIGID ALUMINUM FRAME: Okuma's machined rigid frame construction incorporates a fully machined frame from a single piece of aluminum hollowed out with special machinery. These rigid aluminum frames are the ultimate in precision alignment and tolerances, withstanding more pressure and torque than any other material used in our industry. 2-SPEED GEAR: Okuma 2-speed technology from Okuma incorporates two sets of main gears and stainless steel pinion gear, allowing anglers the option of either a high-speed gear ratio or a low-speed gear ratio for maximum power and torque. The one-piece frame continues around the handleless side, side plate which has a fusion control system for precision coil control. The 6 NMB bearings are bathed in TSI-301 oil, giving it maximum castability and clearing the spool. The Alijos SE reel features a longer 90mm handle. and an oversized T-bar handle knob for exceptional torque and comfort. The clicker mechanism has been reworked to provide a louder click sound for trolling or dead stick applications. Dual Force Drag exerts enormous drag pressure, guaranteeing a seal even under strong stress.</p>
