Seaspin

After the 22, 33, 44 and 55 the small size of the very particular jigs from the Sardinian company Seaspin could not be missing. Leppa 11 was therefore born as a response to all salt and fresh water casters who like to use light equipment to search for their favorite predators. The proportions and shape of their older brothers remain unchanged: that particular "anatomy" that makes leppa unique in their kind. The flattened and aerodynamic body with the center of gravity of the bait moved towards the rear make this jig a real "bullet". Its swimming is nervous and wagging even on slow and linear retrieves and the lure responds promptly to jerks producing the classic "side to side" movement generally more common in classic jerk minnows. During the fall towards the bottom the jig, thanks to its knife shape, leaves the vertical trajectory "performing" in a disorderly flickering, accentuated even more by the refraction of the light on the side of the bait formed by three planes slightly angled to each other. Precisely for this feature we decided to arm the metal with a single assist (made up of a resistant cord and a Gamu round Hook size #1) and specifically let's see why: 1 The assist hook is an additional mobile element which creates interest at the sight of the predator. 2 The "lightness" of the assist increases the probability of strikes, especially on predators that suck the bait. 3 If the jig is used on the seabed, the "lightness" of the assist hook avoids unpleasant snags. 4 The Gamu Hook facilitates and speeds up the unhooking phases, making it possible to release the prey. 5 The mobility of the assist hook completely cancels any leverage or twisting effect that often causes the prey to unhook. 6 The robustness of the assist hook makes a small bait like this perform well even on very large prey. Having read these characteristics, one can understand the numerous scenarios in which the Leppa 11 can be used successfully: from classic off-shore feeding (therefore flatfish, horse mackerel, mackerel, sea bream, dolphin fish, dolphinfish, bonito, etc.) to the search for all those seabed such as paragus, gurnards, snappers, scorpion fish and weevers. But also excellent for targeting sea bass, sea bream, bream, bluefish and barracuda from the ground in the foam below the shore. Thanks to its size it is also suitable for use in fresh water: for example dropped towards the bottom of a large lake in search of a real perch or made to flicker in the current of a stream ready to arouse the curiosity of a beautiful trout on the hunt! For the rest, your imagination will be able to find equally valid and effective uses for it!! Target: bonito, amberjack, dolphin fish, tombarello, tuna, horse mackerel, mackerel, weever, royal perch.
