If you are looking for a top of the line spinning rod, the Expride will be the right choice. Light, medium or even large lures, with Spinning or Baitcasting reels, the Expride range covers everything and with a sensitivity that few rods can match. Each model is also available in two configurations, a 1 + 1 option (one-piece with detachable handle) and 2-piece (sections of equal length). You are really spoiled for choice. The remarkable sensitivity you feel when using the Expride is the result of two unique Shimano technologies. The High Modulus Full Carbon blanks are built using Hi-Power X technology. This reduces the twisting of the blank during the cast and ensures exceptional reactivity during the strike. Important addition is the Carbon Monocoque handle which transfers more information from the blank to the fisherman's hand, allowing for an impeccable perception of everything that is happening to the lure underwater. To further increase the sensitivity and overall performance of the rod, the Expride is fitted with Fuji SiC guides and a lightweight Shimano Ci4 + reel seat to accommodate spinning or baitcasting reels. From an aesthetic point of view, the extraordinary performance is accompanied by a classic glossy black blank and cork front handle which is one of the most attractive combinations seen to date. In use, the Expride will thrill even more. The 1 + 1 models have a one-piece main section with fast action, ensuring unprecedented sensitivity and responsiveness. For a more convenient transport solution there are also the traditional 2 pieces in all models, which once assembled, are almost indistinguishable from the 1 + 1 off-set models. The Sparviero and the Sparviero SPORT cover the need for two-piece rods, with shared action, suitable for power casting in fishing and therefore easy to use, suitable for both the average and advanced user. They are both tools completely aimed at fishing with not exaggerated action, able to adapt to the fisherman and not the other way around. Structurally they are made up of two symmetrical pieces, with a small diameter, about 21mm at the reel seat and which under dynamic load draw a perfect C curve, however detecting a short and extremely sensitive dead tip. Precisely for these characteristics both lend themselves to being underestimated as they are light, thin and with a fairly yielding stock, but the goodness of the carbon and the perfect scaling of the bow make the response fast and pleasant. They do not nail, they forgive a not perfect launch, they are docile, but the return is instantaneous, almost unexpected at the even violent closure. On the peg it is regal, the very sensitive top bows to the waves just enough to not move the ballast, but the fused petticoat at the arch make them sufficiently ready to handle spikes and sanded pyramids. The top signals the slightest touch with clarity, it is difficult not to notice a customer feasting on the other end of the line, even if small in size. The recovery of a prey generates new sensations, the tip supports the escape attempts in an incredible way, but the control of the major prey passes to the underside that does not joke ... The SPORT version is more aggressive and ready than the standard, leaving the same sensitivity at the tip and is particularly aimed at 150g + bait. In general we can say that the Sparrowhawk represents a return of the two pieces to the world of fishing. Leaving other tools to the throwing fields and extreme casting techniques, we regain the joy of a rod suitable for the advanced user who wants to have fun on the seashore struggling with waves or quieter situations but always with the awareness that for once, as in the old days, it is the rod that fits the launcher, not the other way around ...
